Tapi, ... Tipu !

What was supposed to be one of the oldest trick in the book(s) – in this case, the books referred to are Torah, Bible and Koran – yaitu pernyataan / kesaksian palsu (alias fitnah) ternyata masih lazim dipraktekkan dalam kehidupan nyata untuk merusak reputasi dan menjatuhkan seseorang, meskipun bisa jadi dengan maksud dan alasan yang berbeda jauh dari contoh di atas.

It's Complicated

Menyedihkan? I knew.

Hingga kemudian kulihat opsi It’s Complicated di Friendster tersebut kini mencantumkan tanda hak paten. TM. Membosankan dan menyebalkan. Sebegitu bernilai ekonomikah sebuah pernyataan status (ketidakjelasan) hubungan antarmanusia? Padahal ini bukan St. Valentine’s Day.

Sampai ke tahap menyebut diriku sedang dalam sebuah hubungan, In a Relationship.

Gone

Sometimes,
My mind still wandered
Thinking about how our relationship used to be
Before our love is gone

We were so entwined in our lies,
Surrounded by this make believes

I should have known the road we chose would run out on us

Can you tell me now what are we supposed to do?
After all that you and I have been through,
When everything that once felt so right now turns wrong,
Now that our love is gone

Our relationships last for years, but
I didn’t really know what to call you,
And to me,
You didn’t know me at all

I know you feel so hurt inside,
As I do feel just the same,
But if you still want to go on,
We need to find another reason

We have got to find another reason to hold:

Is it ...
Love?

You always seem to know where to find me
Yet I’ll never really learn how to love you

There is nothing left between us to prove,
Don’t see any reason to deny this simple truth.
I can’t find any reasons to keep holding on,
Now that our love is gone

So I need you tell me,
How many ways can we stand there in playback?
How did we end up standing here,
While I stared at you crying underneath the clear blue sky?

There’s nothing left for us to say

It’s time to move and go separate way,
Now that our love is gone.

Fell In Love With Gorgeous

We were holding hands while walking down the lane together
People stared but we just did not care
Sometimes they talked in audible voices and sometimes they only whispered
But something like this had little importance to us so we did not consider it as burden to bear

Because I fell in love with a Gorgeous Guy
Fell in love once and almost completely
We are so much in love with this world,
But sometimes these feelings can be so misleading

He was standing near the window
Watching the city's nightscene, the lights were bright red and neon yellow
He turned to look at me sitting on the bed looking back at him and asked,
"Are you alright, dear?"
I smiled back and said,
"I must be fine because my heart's still beating."

Stood on a stony riverbank cutting through the valley
Stripped down to the skin, we jumped from the dock falling to the river's stream
The water felt icy cold but hugging Gorgeous Guy sparked the fire within
In a low husky voice he said,
"Come closer and kiss me. Amy says it's fine, she doesn't consider it cheating."

Jet black short hair with a curl, mellow roll for the flavor,
The eyes were peeping, white teeth shown between your parting lips glistening
Knew I can not keep away from this Gorgeous Guy
Oh, how these two sides of my brain need to have a meeting

Can't think of anything to do
My left brain knows that all love is fleeting
He is just looking for something new,
and I said it once before but it bears repeating

Don't go telling no more
Don't go telling no more lies on Amy

But I found it hard to face up

Because I fell in love with a Gorgeous Guy
Fell in love once and almost completely
We are so much in love with this world,
But sometimes these feeling can be inadvertently misleading

C'est la Vie

Last Saturday night, two different girls and another guy who don't know each other, asked me out on a ‘date’.

Diane asked me to accompany her on a 'wedding-date', because she doesn't like the curse of the singles' table ever happen to her. She even insisted on lending her ex-husband's designer's suit when I told her I have nothing decent and classy enough to wear for a wedding ceremony that is going to be celebrities-studded and full of A+ guests in such a plush place.

Simone asked me to escort her on her friend's birthday party in a hip nightclub which will be followed by “only God knows what”.

Chip told me that he's up to whatever things that will please me and make me happy and enjoy the long night as long as I keep him in my company.

Three generous offers.

Which one I decided to go to and who were the less-lucky persons that I gave "NO" as an answer?

Apparently, no one.

Turned them all down by saying that I already made a promise a couple of weeks ago with an old-time friend.

In which, technically, I lied.

The situation was that I asked a girl-friend out for a midnight show of a highly-anticipated action movie but she failed to respond my offer, by not returning my calls nor replied my text messages. Later I found out that she was out of town since Thursday evening for a family-related matter.

Such irony.

By refusing the three offers – and since I don't want to make a fool out of myself by telling any of them three that I decided to change my mind and go with his/her offer instead – the only choice that was left for me to choose from (well, it was actually not an option then) was the least I expected to do over a Saturday night, that was to accompany Eric watching his most favorite TV show, Kontes Dangdut TPI.

Euw...!

Will There Be Enough for You?

Would not there be enough for you?
Such an egoistic self-centered girl who lives in constant state of delirium.

Would not there be enough for you?
Not only have you ruined your life with your neurotic psychological condition,
you also want other people to jump off of the edge of sanity with you.

Would not there be enough for you?
Becoming a pathological liar could not satisfy your gargantuan ego;
creating extravagant stories spreading unimaginable lies has become your self-destructive habit.

Would not there be enough for you?
Saying you only need friendship from me,
but all the things you have done only reflected your needs for more and more than just that.

Would not there be enough for you?
You told me how you lose so many close friends back then;
and accusing them of intended refusal to understand you,
even abandoning you, stranded alone in the desert of loneliness and hopelessness,
but now it seem to me that you were the one who scared them away with your attitude.

Would not there be enough for you?
It scared me how you laughed off and ignored all suggestions from your close friends who are just a few left still standing beside you, trying to help you keep a firm grip on reality.

Would not there be enough for you?
When I asked you to stop doing things that only made me feel cheap and caused people gossiping I used you for my own good,
you responded in such an impolite manner accusing me of becoming a high-nosed ungrateful guy.

Would not there be enough for you?
When I told you "friends don't kiss" and “sex is the fastest way to ruin friendship” but for that single occurrence I had you forgiven.
But all you did in return was spreading stories that you had made it out with me at different times and on different places.

Would not there be enough for you?
You still have your little princess beside you, who still needs you so much;
instead you ignored her for other things you could not have and never will.

So I asked you once again,
Will there be enough for you?

The Curious Incidents When Innocence Lost and Consciousness Regained in One Certain Weekend

Just look what you’ve done. You made a fool of everyone.
It seemed like such fun until you lose what you had won ...
(Jet, Look What You’ve Done)

You asked me what was the matter. ..

You left me without any healthy-logical option for keeping my own sanity other than to leave you temporarily, that’s what happened.

I allocated half of my time for you, instead you demanded me to sacrifice more, if not all.

You told me you need a friend who can fully understand.
I said you need someone who can accompany you in your extremely oscillating emotional roller-coaster ride.

You accused me of abandoning you in such mental wreckage, but you should have seen it coming by risking our friendship on the very first place for a very brief time of fun and sensation, and it was only on your side.

You asked me with tears streamed down your cheeks, why was I being so cruel to you, but you failed to see it from my point of view, that you’ve changed into a stranger I barely knew, someone whose mouth spoke of “a version of the truth” but the eyes sparkled with signs of obvious lies.

Once I took all your words for granted, but after that night in the club and the course of events that followed in that certain weekend, everything that came from you were viewed as nothing more but deceits.

Even though I reasoned this decision on the sake of my own emotional stability and my soul tranquility, it was hard for me to convey this plan to distance myself from you.

Nevertheless, I thanked you much for all the attention and time and help you had given me.

Until the better time comes for both of us to fix the damaged friendship, and for you to return back to the one personality I once familiar and felt comfortable to mingle with, I must ask you to find help from somebody other than me (much better from professionals).

And because I believe that my very presence around your life would contribute nothing to improve this unprecedented awkward condition between us, yet on the contrary will only deteriorate things furthermore, I must bid you a momentarily farewell ...

So goodbye for now, and good luck with your life.
